Somerset combines a beautiful coastline and seaside towns with the wild scenery of the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park. Historic Bath and Wells are the main cities but Somerset is peppered with villages and small towns, including Cheddar with its famous Gorge and Glastonbury, rich with mythical associations. The transport links include the M5 and A303 and four main rail services, including the West of England main line through Yeovil and the Bristol to Taunton line. The nearest airport, Bristol, provides national and international flights.
