Devon has the distinction of being the only county with two separate coastlines and home to England’s only natural UNESCO World Heritage Site; the Jurassic Coast of East Devon and Dorset, just east of Exmouth. Devon’s towns range from seaside resorts as Torquay and Paignton to delightful rural market towns such as Newton Abbot. The M4, M5 and M6 networks provide the swiftest routes to Devon and the main railway services providing links with London, Birmingham and Bristol stop at Taunton, Exeter St Davids and Plymouth.
