Bill Stone: Role: Chairman; Bill is founder Director for both Archstone and McCarthy & Stone Plc, Britain's leading retirement home specialists. He is well known within the industry for his high standards and Archstone benefits from his wealth of experience particularly in the retirement field where Archstone has embarked upon its new concept of Leisure Years properties. Bill plays an active role in the company's design and philosophy and continues to utilise his pioneering skills.

Martin Young BSc(Hons)DipArch: Role: Chief Executive; Martin originally qualified as an architect and had a successful career with his own private practice and prior to that working for McCarthy & Stone plc. Martin has a great reputation for his design skills and has several accolades for his work both domestically and internationally. He is a founder member of Archstone with partner Bill, and has brought flair and experience to the running of Archstone, particularly in the luxury and retirement sectors of the business.

Stuart Lindsay FCA: Role: Non-Executive Director (Finance); Stuart has a wealth of experience as a business advisor, having worked in most sectors, company sizes and stages of development. Stuart has 30 years experience as a Chartered Accountant as well as being a Partner in a Big Four firm for 19 years. Archstone benefit from Stuarts detailed knowledge of strategy and financing.

Sean Phillips: Role: Managing Director; Sean has been working in the property industry along the South Coast and London for over 20 years having worked for some of the largest house-builders in the UK. Sean joined Archstone in 2006 as Land and Planning Director responsible for land acquisition and achieving planning consents. As Managing Director he is now responsible for the company and the Executive Board achieving its plans for expansion and ensuring that our product and service are provided to the highest possible standards.

Tim McEvoy: Role: Sales & Marketing Director; Tim was appointed to the board in November 2007 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge gained in the housing sector spanning 25 years. He has considerable experience of the industry through a career that included key roles within some of the major housebuilders. Tim's knowledge of both volume and more specified niche developments add valuable skills to the team in this key role.
