Archstone

we work with landowners & communities

to deliver sustainable developments in Gloucestershire & Oxfordshire

Archstone promote land with the potential to accommodate new homes alongside improved community facilities. We work with landowners and communities to bring forward sustainable development in accordance with the needs and character of the local area.

This is a gradual process, firstly to agree the suitability of the site & then to establish the principles for development & associated benefits, before the submission of a planning application. As a result, our planning applications can include:

  • Generous public open spaces
  • Community orchards
  • Allotments
  • Land for a community building
  • Sports pitches
  • Contributions towards community projects
  • Transfer of ransom strip to the Parish Council to control future development
  • Traffic calming
  • Safe routes to school
  • Sustainable surface water drainage
  • Flood prevention

Councillors all agreed that Archstone Land’s conduct has been exemplary."
